The Marathon County Register of Deeds Office is the central location for vital records and land records for Marathon County. 

Our vital records section maintains and issues copies of certificates for births, deaths, marriages, and domestic partnerships.  This office can provide vital records for events occurring in the state of Wisconsin depending on the date of the event. See the Vital Record section of this page for more information.  The vital records area also records military discharge papers for veterans.

Our land records section records, files, maintains and issues copies of real estate records for property located in Marathon County, and records a variety of other documents of significance.
