Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce, and Domestic Partnership Certificates are available from the Register of Deeds office. The Marathon County Register of Deeds Office can print records from other Counties if the event date is as follows:

| Marriage Certificate | October 1, 1907 to present |
| Divorce Certificate | January 1, 2016 to present |

| Tribal Marriage & Divorce | January 1, 2016 to present |
Any documents prior to the above dates will need to be requested from the County in which the event happened.
Vital Record Fees
$20 for the first copy. $3 for each additional copy ordered at the same time.
Military Discharge (DD-214)
Military discharge records can be produced in our office for a fee. For possible free information and records, please contact the Veterans Service Office at 715-261-1141.
