The CLTS Program supports families who have children, with substantial limitations in their daily activities, care for their children in their homes and community. A child’s eligibility is based on his or her functional limitations, which includes a physical, developmental or emotional limitation that restricts a child’s ability to carry out daily living activities, such as dressing, eating, communicating or mobility. The CLTS program is a voluntary program, funded by the federal and state government. To be enrolled in CLTS, a child also needs to be eligible for Medicaid.
